Naniboujou is a historic lodge on Lake Superior's North Shore, about 15 minutes past Grand Marais on Highway 61. Its dining room is one of the most historic in Minnesota and holds the state's largest stone fireplace, more than 20 feet tall and built from over 200 tons of Lake Superior stone. It markets itself as a quiet, unplugged retreat.
